Robert “Bob” Fredricks, 78, of Benton Township died Friday, October 6, 2023, at the Hanson Hospice Center in Lincoln Township.
Services celebrating his life will be held at 1 PM on Friday, October 13, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Township with Rev. Jeffrey Hubers of the St. Joseph First Congregational Church officiating. Burial will follow in Crystal Springs Cemetery. Bob was born on December 8, 1944 in Benton Harbor to Arthur and Elsie Fredricks. He was a machine operator for Whirlpool Corp for 43 years and retired in 2007. Bob at one time owned and operated a Poolhall in Watervliet. He enjoyed going to the casinos with Life Partner, Rod. Bob loved his dog, Peanut. He also loved and enjoyed his extended family. He will be missed by his family and friends.
His family includes his Life Partner, Rod Reynolds; his children, Rob Fredricks, Jr, of Hartford and Randi (Mick) Williams of Hartford; his brothers, Walter Fredricks of Riverside, Dale Fredricks of Coloma, and Larry Fredricks of Sister Lakes; his sisters, Richie Fredricks of Coloma and Julie Fredricks of Sister Lakes; his 2 grandchildren; his 2 great grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Rosemary Johnson.
