The 2023 North American International Auto Show begins this week with an industry preview day Wednesday and the Charity Preview on Friday. It officially opens to the public this weekend. Auto Show Chairman Thad Szott says there’s no shortage of gas cars, EVs, or hybrids to see at the show.
“You gotta have it all,” Szott said. “Consumers are certainly all over the board when it comes to gas and electric and hybrid. So, we’ve got to have everything. We worked really hard this year to have incredible representation of what’s going on in the market. We have 35 brands represented this year. That’s over double what we had last year.
It’s the second year the show is being held in the fall. A record number of people are expected to attend.
