Howard “Chip” Henry, 68, of Sodus Township, died Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at his home.
Services celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Fairplain Chapel
of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Township. Visitation will be held from noon to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Those wishing to share messages or memories can do so at www.florin.net.
Chip was born on October 21, 1954 in Benton Harbor to Howard H. and Alice Henry. He graduated
from Benton Harbor High School. Chip was a machine operator at Benton Harbor Engineering for
more than 20 years and then at New Products for more than 10 years before his retirement in 2016. He was a hard worker.
He enjoyed the outdoors and like to cut wood and go camping. Chip would do anything for anybody and was a good man.
Chip’s family includes his daughter, Angela Henry-Delapaz of Kalamazoo; his sisters, Kathy Hayes of Coloma and Laura O’Connel of St. Joseph; his brother Brian Henry of AL; his two grandchildren and 6
great grandchildren, and his special friend Janet Zandarski of Stevensville. He was preceded in death
by a son Timothy Henry in 2023.
