A piece of southwest Michigan history has been reduced to rubble.
The long-empty home of Win Schuler’s and 5 O’Clock Sports Bar at 5000 Red Arrow Highway in Stevensville has been demolished to make way for a future Drive and Shine Car Wash. The building has been unoccupied since May 2015, with Drive & Shine ownership purchasing the building in 2017.
Drive & Shine told us earlier this year that they are excited to bring a new location to Stevensville. Drive & Shine VP of Marketing Sherry Tehrani said this location will look like the Niles location, and will include a long car wash tunnel, express oil change, indoor vacuum building and outdoor vacuums.
Drive & Shine is based in Granger, Ind., and operates about a dozen locations across Michiana. The company describes itself as a “car care center,” with locations offering interior cleaning and full detail service.
