Eva Marie Martin, 3, of Baroda passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 5, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Woodland Shores Baptist Church, 3555 W Shawnee Rd, Bridgman, MI 49106, with Pastor Jim Oakley, officiating. The family is requesting that those attending wear bright colors. In lieu of flowers, please bring a stuffed animal for donation to the Bronson Pediatric Intensive Care Unit or memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Sawyer PHS Preschool, PO Box 247, Sawyer, MI 49125. Eva was born on November 9, 2019 in Mishawaka, the daughter of Richard and Rebekah (Terry) Martin. Eva was a fierce and determined girl who had a zesty personality and a smile that could make anyone happy. Her presence would light up the room everywhere she went. Eva was independent and wanted to do everything herself. She so dearly loved her brother, Lukey and her cousins. She also loved camping, riding her bike, and she adored her blankie. She loved to dance and wiggle, and ride in the truck listening to country music.
Survivors include her parents; brother: Lucas Martin; grandparents: Rick (Juanita) Martin and George (Sally) Frye; great grandparents: Janet Edgecomb, Patricia Decker, and Dixie Martin.
Eva was preceded in death by her grandfather: Gary Terry.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
