Cindy Lou Thornton, 62, of Niles, died Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Corewell Health Niles Hospital, Niles, Michigan.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at Bowerman Funeral Home in Eau Claire, with Reverend Robert Duehlmeyer officiating. Messages and memories may be shared online at www.bowermanfuneral.com. Donations in Cindy’s name may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sodus.
Cindy was born April 19, 1960, in St. Joseph, Michigan, the daughter of Ernest and Marilyn (Wendt) Reimer. She graduated from high school and dedicated her life to being a homemaker. She loved her nephews and niece and their children. In her leisure time she enjoyed watching Hallmark TV and reading romance novels. Her dog Lacy was very precious to her.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Thornton; and two sisters: Charlotte Eason and Cheryl (Jim) Baker.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.
