Ronald Dale Martin, born October 26, 1936, in Niles, Michigan to Frank and Cecil (Weiser) Martin, passed peacefully on March 20, 2023, at his residence.
Ron was preceded in death by both his parents and siblings Wyatt Martin and Joyce Seiczko. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Beverly Joy (Mitchell) and granddaughter Deanna (Kudas) Pineda.
He is survived by his wife Jill; children Jennifer (Robert) Bonzelaar, Deborah (Anthony) Smith, Ronald (Anita) Martin, and Josephine (Anthony) Martin Grooms; stepdaughters Laura (Ralph) Gutman and Andrea (Rob) DeCook; thirteen grandchildren: Cassie, Brianna, and Kyle Bonzelaar, Michael (Marjorie) Kudas, Danielle (Mark) Harris, Cory (Jenna) Martin, Marissa Martin, Levi (Samantha) Grooms, Aaron (Angela) Grooms, Jennifer and Rachel Gutman, Dylan and Brady Drzal, two great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
Per Ron’s wishes, his body has been cremated. A Celebration of Life will take be held by the family on May 13, details pending. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, MI. Online condolences may be made at www.hovenfunerals.com.
