Nicholas A. Stull, 56, formerly of Dowagiac, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 14, 2023 at Life Care Center of Plainwell. He was born on June 28, 1966 in Fort Knox, KY, the son of Harman ‘Pete’ Stull and Sylvia (Tobicash) Stull.

Nick had a larger than life personality with a laugh to match. He always kept a menagerie of animals in his world, and he had a true talent for breeding: dogs, sugar gliders, fish, lizards and even spiders! When he wasn’t collecting animals, he could be found speeding down the road on a motorcycle, surely laughing in pure joy at whomever he passed on his way. He leaves behind so many people who love him dearly.

Surviving are his mother, Sylvia Stull of Niles; father, Pete Stull of Jenison; sister, Kimberly (Chris Booth) Stull of Bartlett, IL; brother, Christopher ‘Kit’ (Katie) Stull of Berrien Springs; two nieces, Myra Booth and Makenna Stull; and three nephews, Cory Booth, Dominick Booth, and Nicholas Stull.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 25, at Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 210 N. Front Street, with Fr. Arul Lazar as celebrant. Friends may visit with Nick’s family from 5-7 PM on Friday, March 24, at Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes, 405 Center Street. Memorial contributions in Nick’s name may be directed to SPCA of Southwest Michigan. Those wishing to leave a condolence to Nick’s family may visit www.clarkch.com.
