Nina Ann Holloway was born April 14, 1965, at 1:20 pm at Mercy Hospital to the union of the late Elder Clarence Holloway Jr. and Mother Martha (Young) Holloway. She was the baby girl of twelve children. Nina was lovingly known by family and friends as Sister Nina.

Sister Nina graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1983 and attended Job Corp. Sister Nina worked several jobs including Whitcomb Tower, Ausco, Benton Harbor Area Schools, and Shoreham Terrace. Nina loved basketball and a huge fan of the Chicago Bulls with her favorite player-Michael Jordan.

She was baptized by Bishop Leroy Lane on February 7, 1999, at Straight Gate Pentecostal Power Church.  According to the faithful scripture Acts 2:38, she was a dedicated and loving member who served faithfully. Sister Nina worked on the Usher Department, Choir, and Missionary Department. She was best known for selling her chocolate chip cookies. Sister Nina was a Christian woman with great faith which reflected her closeness to Jesus.

Nina leaves to cherish in her loving memories two sons, Michael Holloway and Kirby (Charimaila) Holloway; three brothers, Johnny (Sharon) Holloway, Tommie (Terry) Holloway, and Charlie Holloway; five sisters, Willa Coleman, Dorothy Jones, Linda Holloway, Theresa Holloway, and Annette Holloway; one special aunt, Evelyn (Charles) Hill; three grandchildren, Kyliah Holloway, Kerwin Holloway Jr., and Michael Holloway Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Elder Clarence Holloway Sr. in 1993; her mother Martha Holloway in 2020; brother, Clarence Holloway Jr. in 2000, and her sister, Magdalene Holloway (Smith) 2016.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, Benton Harbor.
