Firefighters responded to a blaze at a commercial building early Sunday morning in Lincoln Township. The Lincoln Township Fire Department says it was dispatched to the intersection of John Beers Road and Lincoln Avenue for a report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire coming out of the east end of the building. The fire was brought under control with the assistance of Royalton Township Fire Department and Lake Township Fire and Rescue. Also on scene were Medic 1 Ambulance and the Lincoln Township Police Department. Firefighters remained on the scene for around four hours tracking down hot spots. There were no injuries in the fire and the cause remains under investigation.
