The Benton Harbor area has the lowest average gas price in Michigan to start 2023. Triple-A Michigan says the average in the southwest corner of the state is $3.15 a gallon. Statewide, the average is up 21¢ in the past week to $3.20. Metro Detroit and Saginaw have the highest average price at $3.21. A 15-gallon fill up now costs $48.
