Luther Allen Baker, Sr., of Buchanan, MI, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph, MI.
Luther was born on August 10, 1953 in Michigan City, IN to the late Luther and Emma Baker.
He is survived by his children, Luther Allen Baker, Jr., Marshall Baker, Dustin Baker, Melissa Noles, Carla Ott; brother, Marshal Black; sisters, Bettie Lowery, Lynda Day, Sandra Baker, Christine Russo; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Luther is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Emma; brothers, Howard Baker, Michael Black, Richard Black; sisters, Margaret Dees, and Carolyn Black.
Visitation for Luther will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Hoven Funeral Home, 414 E. Front St., Buchanan, MI 49107. Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Hoven Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Chikaming Twp, MI.
