A church pastor from the Benton Harbor area is facing criminal sexual conduct charges. Carlton Lynch of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Benton Township was arraigned Tuesday on a charge of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. According to The Herald Palladium, he’s charged for an incident that allegedly occurred in 2018. It’s alleged he groped a woman, and when she pushed him away, he tried to bribe her not to tell anyone. Lynch is free on bond and due back in court on Wednesday. He faces up to two years in prison.
