
HARLINDA MOSES FLOURNOY JR. was born August 14, 1947 in New Madrid, Missouri. As a teen he served his country and joined The United States Navy. In 1968, he was Honorably Discharged after serving as a Ship’s Serviceman 3rd class on the U.S.S. Little Rock. He was loved and cherished and very well known as an Automobile Mechanic and Horse Wrangler. He enjoyed his work and lived as a free spirit.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Harlinda Moses Flournoy Sr. and Mother, Pauline Flournoy, his wife, Karen Flournoy, sister, Betty Cambell and brothers, Billy and Gary Flournoy along with a Great-Grandson, Valentin.
His memories are left to be cherished by his daughters, Nicole (Kelly) Stewart of Covert, Michigan, Adi (Clenzie) Kyles of Benton Harbor, Michigan, sons, Steven Flournoy (Jess Fireline) of Springfiled, Illinois and Justin Flournoy (Elizabeth Austin) of South Haven, Michigan, sisters, Vera (Ernie) Jordan, Juanita (Ronald) Stansberry, and Inez Flournoy, brothers, Roger and Christopher Flournoy, grandchildren, Kayla, Keshawn, Hendrick, Ke’Andre, Destiny and Ka’Tajia. Harlinda also leaves great-grandchildren, Ka’Miyah, Glen Jr. and Antonio, special family friend, Jodie Harris-Covington.
