Brenda Jane Russ, 65, of Paw Paw, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at her home.
She was born February 25, 1957, in South Haven, the daughter of the late Floyd Marvin Goodrich Jr. and June Carol (Madsen) Goodrich.
Brenda was active with the Paw Paw United Methodist Church in earlier years, where she participated in the choir and was a Sunday School teacher. She was also a Girl Scout leader for several years. She especially enjoyed her extensive nutcracker collection, stopping at any yard sale she approached, and she took great pride in her crafting projects. Most of all, Brenda loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, David William Russ July 27, 2021, and her brother, Joe Goodrich.
She is survived by her three daughters, Shana (Ernest, Sr) Arter, Sandi (Jerry Conklin) Haywood-Russ and Jayne (John) Meachum; two sons, Nicholas J. Russ and LeRoy M. Russ.
Cremation will take place. There will be a celebration of life held in the Spring 2023. Brenda will be placed to rest with her husband, David, at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
