Jack F. B. Park, 82, of Benton Harbor, Michigan, passed away on January 16, at Spectrum Health Lakeland. He was born in 1939, to Forrest and Edith Park in St. Joseph, MI.
In 1958, he married Kathleen and shared 63 truly blessed years together.
Jack has 6 children, whom he loved with all his heart. Jeff Park, Steve Park, Karen Brule, Catherine (John) von Allmen, Bryan Park and Jack C. Park.
He is also survived by sisters Deana Forbes and Lisa Andrasi, brother John (Donna) Andrasi. Brother-in-law John Schramm and sister-in-law Madeline Kimball.
Jack was blessed with 23 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, his son Jeff, and two granddaughters, Brooke and Amber.
After Jack graduated from Benton Harbor High School, he attended Whirlpool Technology Institute, and then enlisted in the United States Air Force. He proudly served his country for 8 1/2 years and is a Vietnam veteran.
While in the Air Force he studied electronics and communications and was selected to attend metrology school at Lowry Air Force Base in Colorado.
After discharge from the Air Force, he returned to Benton Harbor and was employed by Heath Company, where he built the metrology lab and was involved in the first satellite TV systems and home computers.
While working full-time, he also pursued his education at Lake Michigan College and got his degree. He also designed and built the LMC radio station.
He went on to open Shoreland Products, with two friends, Jerry and Harold. They were at the forefront of the Satellite TV business. He finished his career at Whirlpool and retired after 12 years.
Jack was not only a great father to his children, but a best friend and mentor. He loved God and lived his life in service to others. He was a Cub Scout Master, little league coach, and Lake Michigan Catholic athletic and band booster.
Jack was an avid reader, HAM radio operator, and nature lover. Late in life he learned to play the harmonica.
Jack enjoyed spending time with family and friends and sharing his vast knowledge and insight. Everyone loved talking to him because he truly cared about people. If you knew him, you loved him.

Funeral Mass was held Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10:30am at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 555 E Delaware, Benton Harbor, MI
Burial followed at Lake Shore Cemetery, Eaman Rd, Hagar Township
A Celebration of life luncheon was held at the church community room, immediately following internment.
