Joan Elaine Archer, 75, of Niles went to heaven December 20, 2021. Joan was born July 7, 1946 to Ester Crawford and the late Harold Frasher.
Joan was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She leaves behind her Mother Ester (late Jack) Crawford of Niles, A loving husband, Glen Archer, with who she just celebrated 55 wonderful years of marriage, her only daughter Dawn (David) Gates of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas. Three sons, Tyree Archer, Timothy (Amy) Archer, and Terry (Sheri) Archer) all of Niles. 11 Grandchildren Ronald C. Lenex Sr, Joseph Lenex, William Siderits, Christopher Archer, Bobby Davis, Zachary Archer, Emily Archer, Jesse Archer, Callie Alford, Lexi Pollock. She had 6 great grandsons and 6 great granddaughters. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and friends that will miss her dearly.
Joan is preceded in death by her father, Harold Frasher, her brother , Bob Frasher and her grandmother, Clara Marcin.
Joan cherished her family and loved spending time with them and talking frequently on the phone to the ones that lived farther away. She would beam with pride talking about them.
While Joan’s health declined, her sons did the best they could, but she received the ultimate care by her only daughter, Dawn, that recently graduated nursing school. The family is certain she held on for the graduation, and could not be more thankful of the care she was given.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
