Michael departed this life on Oct 29th, 2021, in Benton Harbor MI where he currently resided and has lived all of his life. Michael Anthony Young was born on Oct 9th,1964 to the late Ocie Sr and Deola Young in Benton Harbor MI where he joined the family of many other siblings.
Michael attended Benton Harbor area schools, growing up Michael found a passion for video games, and he would concur with them all. He loved to challenge others; Michael also had a love for dominoes of which I’m sure he has more wins than losses under his belt. When he loved something, he would figure it out to be the best at it. Those of us who knew Michael “Big Ben” knew he had a pure heart and would give the shirt off his back.
He would rap and B-box in his younger days and also try to be the family comedian. Everyone who came into contact with Michael loved him and his big grand smile.
Michael Young was preceded in death by his parents Ocie Sr and Deola Young, Brothers Ocie Jr, Earl Young, Willie Young, and Wayne Young and Sisters Mary Young- Siggers, Diane Young, Barbara Jean Bryant, Mary Young-Perry, And Dorothy Jean Young.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories to his only son Michael Anthony Cager and two grandchildren Amorha Shalay Cager and Michael Anthony Cager Jr. Alone with his brothers Terry and David Young both of Benton Harbor Mi, his sisters Aletha Nash, Maggie Kyle, and Catherine Mays all of Benton Harbor MI, Martha Young of Detroit MI, and Shelly Young and Sandra Hardy of Lansing MI.
A host of nieces, nephews, and close friends who he loved dearly.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, Benton Harbor.
