Amber Mae Brown

There are few words to describe the incredible character of Amber Mae Brown, formerly Amber Pike.  Amber was the first born of Iosco County MI for the 1995 New Year, shortly after midnight. Amberʼs art talent and abilities scored at five- stars, with her paintings and sketches being top notch.  Amber was chief executive artist for Lighthouse Productions LLC which participated with the SCBWI Organization.  Amber and was an accomplished artist who was becoming Internationally known. Amber began her art career in the sixth grade and enjoyed showing selections in the Oscoda Art Fair, Krasl Art Fair, and The Box Factory.

Amber was a student sky diver learning to pack her parachute independently and without the instructor.

Amber also enjoyed writing and had authored a book titled “Where The Monkeyʼs Live”. Most recently, Amber was employed as a chocolate temperer for Fannie Mae Candies in order to learn the art of Chocolate tempering. Amber is survived by her mother Michella Smith of Denver; her siblings, Cody, Brandi, and Emily; Grandparents Charles and Di-an Pennington of Granger, Indiana; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph.  Friends may visit at the funeral home beginning at 3:00 P.M. Saturday. Memorial donation in Amberʼs name may be made to the Krasl Art Center in St. Joseph or the Berrien Community Foundations.
