Beverly Katherine Gist, 64 of South Haven passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021. Born on May 4, 1957 in Chicago IL.
Visitation for Beverly will be held, Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 1 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. at the Filbrandt Chapel of Starks Funeral Home 1076 S. Bailey St. South Haven, Michigan.
Beverly worked at Double J Molding for 3 years. Her biggest priority was her grandchildren, she was a very loving and caring grandmother. She spent most of her time watching NBA Basketball games and Soap Operas. She loved spending time at the casino with her favorite crew. Beverly loved dancing and all types of music, R&B, Hip Hop and Rap. She did things her own way until the very end.
Beverly is survived by her daughter Summer Gist and son in law Rolando Reid and sons Lamont Gist and Jerry Gist and her grandchildren; Teirshae Reid, Roe’Mya Reid, Laila Gist, Summer Reid and Jenaiah Gist. She is also survived by siblings; Kimberly Gist, Valerie Gist, Carolyn Gist, Tonya Gist and big sister Mable Merriweather, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren.
Beverly is preceded in death by her mother Violet Gist, sisters, Cathy Gist and brother Anthony Gist.
