The Silver Beach Carousel is hoping to reopen this month. Once it does, masks will be required for everyone 3 and older, regardless of their COVID-19 vaccination status. Carousel staff say they appreciate everyone’s “support and patience through these 16 difficult months of closure,” but say operations will change. They will be open fewer days and hours than in the past with reservations for a 60-minute visit on a specific day for a specific time. Volunteers will clean high-touch areas for a half-hour between sessions. No date has yet been specified to reopen.
