The iconic blue cows that for years have stood above Sherman’s Dairy Bar in South Haven are now back in place. You may recall the cows, Blue Moo and Baby Moo, were taken out of action last August when someone stole Baby Moo and Blue Moo was knocked over and damaged. The culprits of Baby Moo’s calf-napping were later identified and the statue returned. South Haven Area Emergency Services now says both cows were repaired over the winter and on Tuesday returned to their familiar rooftop spots at the dairy bar on Phoenix Road. The cows are named in honor of Sherman’s iconic Blue Moon ice cream. Sherman’s is scheduled to open for its 63rd season on May 1.
