Martin Luther King Day will be marked by Celebration Cinema with some film screenings and discussions this month. The theater chain says it’s showing One Night in Miami, which the IMDB describes as a “fictional account of one incredible night where icons Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, Sam Cooke, and Jim Brown gathered discussing their roles in the civil rights movement and cultural upheaval of the 60s.” The movie will play at all Celebration Cinema locations. Then there will be a virtual discussion about the film on Monday, January 18. Celebration Cinema is also showing MLK/FBI at its Studio Park location, and there will be a discussion about it on Sunday, January 24. You can register for the One Night in Miami discussion here.
