Stephen V. “Steve” Castronovo, 32, of Kalamazoo, passed away on September, 16, 2020. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel & Cremation Services. Steve was born on June 1, 1988 in Munster, IN, to James V. & Maria (Matkovich) Castronovo. In 2006 he graduated from New Buffalo High School. He continued his education by earning a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Western Michigan University. After college, Steve married Lindsey Crum. He was employed at Eimo Technologies in Vicksburg, MI, as a Senior Systems Engineer. Steve enjoyed going to craft breweries and distilleries; he had a palate for nice whiskey and delicious craft beer. He was a proud fan of Purdue and Stanford University and he always looked forward to watching their football games with his wife and friends. Steve also had a love for animals, specifically his cat, Spelunker.
Steve is survived by his mother, Maria; wife, Lindsey; siblings, Maria & Lance Castronovo; and fur-baby, Spelunker. He was preceded in death by his father, James.
