Vincent Edward Rasmus, 56, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020. He was born March 29, 1964 to George and Mary (Page) Rasmus in Michigan City, Indiana. Vincent worked for DeBest Inc. in South Haven for over sixteen years. Vince enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He cherished his time spent with his daughters and grandchildren. He also liked visiting casinos and spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father – George Rasmus, mother – Mary (Chuck) Bodfish, and a brother – Michael Rasmus.
Vincent is survived by his children – Crystal McCoy of Bangor, Chelsea Rasmus and Elizabeth (Kevin) Rasmus both of Fennville; siblings – Cynthia Pittsley of South Haven, Daniel Rasmus of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Johnny (Melissa) Bodfish of South Haven, Chuck (Sherry) Bodfish of Lacota, and Cindy Bodfish. Five grandchildren – Rufus & Macey McCoy, Ammary Peterson, Jr., and Peyton & Melody Haggerty. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the funeral home. Vincent will be laid to rest at Lee Township Cemetery.
