The U.S. Census Bureau will begin its door-to-door effort in all Michigan communities today. Workers will be following up with people who have not yet responded to the census.
“All of the census takers will have PPE and masks. They will be trained to social distance while they communicate with each household, but they will still be hitting the doors of those who have not responded to the census,” says Kerry Ebersole-Singh, the director of the Michigan 2020 Census.
It’s still possible to complete the census online at michigan.gov/census2020, or by phone at 844-330-2020.
