Tiffany La’Shae Carter, 37 of Benton Harbor departed this life June 14, 2020, at the Hanson Hospice Center, Stevensville.
Tiffany was born on January 19, 1983, in St. Joseph to Gralin Hicks and Eleanor Carter. She was formerly educated in the Benton Harbor Area Schools and enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, watching wrestling, and making people laugh. Tiffany had a special love for her two love children Taj’ and La’Quan and her cousin and traveling buddy, Ashley. She gave her heart to the Lord at an early age at Holy Temple COGIC. Tiffany was faced with many challenges throughout her journey and never complained. She is remembered for saying, “I have M.S., M.S. doesn’t have me.”
Tiffany leaves to cherish her memory, her mom, Eleanor Carter; sons, Taj’ Armani Carter and La’Quan Shawnell Gordon Jr; sister, Jasmine Carter-Seay; brothers, Garlin Carter and Kiwanis Page; god sisters, Tiauna Ross and Laila Woods; Godbrothers, Omar K Bulger, Darius Archibald, and Marlon Askew; favorite aunt, La’Verne Carter-White; favorite uncles. Columbus C Franklin and Kevin White; special cousin, Kevin Dominique Carter; godparents, Patrick, and Sherry Hill; Godfather Ira Ward, nephew, Garlin Lewis; a host of special friends, aunts, uncles, cousin’s family, and friends.
Tiffany is preceded in death by her father, Garlin E. Hicks; maternal grandparents, Walter, and Delores Carter; paternal grandparents, Columbus and Beatrice Franklin and Chester Hughes; aunt, Catherine Hales; uncle, Roy Hales.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Robbins Brother Funeral Home, Benton Harbor.
