Berrien County COVID-19 Cases Up By 12

Michigan has 501 new COVID-19 cases and 69 new deaths, though the state says 31 of those on Thursday are from reviews of death certificates which happen three times a week. Overall, the state is up to 53,510 cases and 5,129 deaths. In southwest Michigan, Berrien County has a dozen new cases and six additional deaths, with those numbers now at 564 cases, 40 deaths, and 363 recoveries. There are only slight increases in cases in Cass and Van Buren counties with no additional deaths as of Thursday. Cass County is up by two cases to 68, while Van Buren County is up by one to 117.
