Work is underway on a new luxury storage facility on Marina Island in St. Joseph. Ultimate Storage Luxury Garage Suites co-owner Dan Crist tells WSJM News construction could start soon on the property between Brian’s Marina and Anchor’s Way Marina. He’s envisioning a different kind of storage unit.
“It’s a high-end garage for your toys,” Crist said. “So, we’ve made the buildings big enough to house RVs, boats, cars, motorcycles. Anything you care about and you value and want to go pay attention to and spend some time with.”
Crist says the new Ultimate Storage units can even feature bathrooms, kitchenettes, and phone, cable, and internet connections.
“I know on the island, and I know in St. Joe, there’s not a product out there right now like ours that you can buy in our location, which is right in between three marinas, that’s out there.”
The new development is a $3.25 million investment. Crist says groundwork started this past fall, and the goal is to be open in June. You can find out more right here.
