Thomas D. Braswell III, 49, of Dowagiac, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, after a very lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Thomas was born in Crossett, Arkansas on July 1, 1969, to Thomas and Betsy (Hammond) Braswell Jr.
He graduated from high school in Bastrop, Louisiana, after moving there to live with his gramma Braswell. Thomas married Tracy L. Miller on September 29, 1996, in Cassopolis. They made their home in Dowagiac, together raising her two children. Thomas enjoyed watching football on TV, especially cheering for the Tennessee Titans.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betsy A. Dutton; and his grandmother, Margaret Braswell.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Tracy Braswell of Dowagiac; children, Miranda (Mark) DeVarona of Dowagiac and Devin Dandurand of Niles; his father, Thomas (Linda) Braswell Jr. of Louisiana; siblings, David (Lisa) Braswell of Louisiana; Sherry (Danny Wolf) Braswell of Missouri; and Linda Braswell of Texas; step-sisters, Sissy Graves, Sheri Scott and Robin Nall of Louisiana; and his beloved dog companion, Tuesday.
A memorial service will be held towards the end of May.
