Edward Johnson was born on the 23rd of May 1953 to the union of the late Rev. John and Arlene Johnson. His late parents raised Edward in Sikeston, Missouri along with seven brothers and sisters.
After moving to Benton Harbor, MI, Edward spent most of his time enjoying friends, church and making memories with his family. He gave his life to the Lord during his membership at St Paul Baptist Church. Ed also had a natural artistic ability. He loved to create beautiful hand drawn cards, made portraits and many sketches of the beauties in life. Later in life he became a Master landscaper. His talents landed him several paid long-term positions as an independent contractor for businesses and people in the community. Living the dream Edward worked hard while doing what he loved most. Family and friends truly enjoyed his green thumb especially his sister Glory. Memories of how he manicured her lawn created beautiful flowerbeds and introduced them to different flowers. His knowledge was extensive and his eye for amazing landscapes was Extraordinary.
Finally Ed settled into spending most of his days as an amazing grandfather, and enjoying his wife. He loved being in the kitchen cooking, baking, stirring the pots and dancing to his favorite music.
