MSP Identifies Victims In Kalamazoo Amtrak-Car Crash

A violent train-car collision just west of Kalamazoo in Oshtemo Township has killed all three in the car. Michigan State Police have identified them as 20-year-old Jarmaine Brown, 19-year-old Marcionna Edwards, and 18-year-old Jordan Brooks, all of Kalamazoo. No one on the train was hurt. The three were killed when Amtrak’s Wolverine 355 train slammed into it around 10 p.m. Sunday. The train was already 45 minutes late headed to Chicago at the time. There’s no word why the car was on the tracks at the time. The crash remains under investigation.
