Downtown St. Joe will be set alight tonight with the Luminary Festival. St. Joseph Today’s Tess Carragher tells us this is the 24th annual event.
“We have over 1,000 luminary bags that line the downtown streets,” says Carragher. “We turn off the street lamps and you really get an old world, nostalgic feel while you’re wandering around and shopping downtown.”
Stores will be open a little later tonight for the festivities, and will be providing refreshments to those braving the chilly weather between 5 and 9 p..m.
The city of St. Joseph will hold its annual Light up the Bluff celebration in three weeks on Friday, December 7 at 6 p.m.
