Evagene Marie Murdock, 83, of Galien, MI, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Brentwood in Niles.
She was born August 9, 1935 in Maysville, KY to the late William and Pearl (Ruggles) Wilson. On October 23, 1954, Evagene married Clarence “Buster” Murdock, who preceded her in death February 2000. She was a lifelong member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church of Galien, MI.
Evagene is survived by her son, Richard (Jackie) Murdock; daughters, Jeanette (Larry) Housour, Dorothy (Eric) Axelberg, Donna (Floyd) Horner; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by grandson, Jeffrey Housour.
Funeral Service for Evagene will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Hoven Funeral Home , Buchanan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 -2 pm.
