With everyone’s minds on the long Memorial Day weekend ahead, many minds were honoring the men and women of the Armed Forces. Saturday was Armed Forces Day and several gathered at the St. Joseph Post Office. Vietnam Veteran Roddy Glenn organizes the event each year.
“This is the day that we recognize our heroes who protected us,” Glenn told WSJM News.
Many local leaders were on hand, including Congressman Fred Upton and State Representative Al Pscholka.
