The Kraft-Heinz Company is planning a $17 million expansion in Holland. The larger facility will allow for all of its production of Grey Poupon mustard to be made in Michigan after the Michigan Economic Development Corporation approved a $500,000 grant for the project. MEDC Vice President Josh Hundt says 50 new jobs will be added.

“Michigan’s food processing business generates about $25 billion of economic activity in a year, and employs more than 130,000 residents, and to see the continued growth of this continues to make Michigan one of the agriculture centers of North America,” Hundt said.

Heinz and Kraft merged a year ago.
