Southwest Michigan is about to be in the spotlight with the St. Joseph Pure Michigan ad. The 30-second spot was shot last fall, featuring people playing checkers, golf at Harbor Shores, sights in downtown St. Joseph, diners at Benton Harbor’s Mason Jar Cafe, and the Silver Beach Carousel. The video can be seen on the Facebook page for MoodyOnTheMarket, and will launch on TV stations later this year. It will go up on the YouTube channel for Pure Michigan next week. Travel Michigan vice president Dave Lorenz was in Benton Township at the Hilton Garden Inn to unveil the ad with area tourism officials last night.
