WSJM Incorporated, the southwest Michigan division of Mid-West Family Broadcasting, on Monday announced the acquisition of four radio stations in South Bend. The new acquisitions will operate as a division of WSJM Incorporated, and the South Bend stations included in the purchase are WSBT AM 960, Sunny 101.5, Classic Hits 94.3, New Country 99.9 WHFB-FM. WSJM Inc. President Gayle Olson says that the new deal is positive news for the company.

Olson says that the South Bend and Benton Harbor divisions of WSJM, Inc. will compliment each other well, and he doesn’t think listeners of the stations included will notice any differences. The South Bend stations were previously owned by Schurz Communications, the owners of WSBT TV, and the deal will be final with FCC approval within 45 to 60 days.
