Zach Anderson Removed From Indiana Sex Offender Registry

An Elkhart, Indiana man who successfully sought to have himself removed from Michigan’s sex offender registry has now also been removed from Indiana’s sex offender registry. 20 year old Zach Anderson was convicted in Berrien County of criminal sexual conduct after traveling to Niles for sex with a 14 year old girl who told him she was 17. Anderson was originally sentenced to two years in prison and 25 years on the sex offender registry, but last week was resentenced to probation. At that time, he was taken off Michigan’s sex offender registry, but remained on Indiana’s On Friday, Anderson’s family announced that he’s now also been removed from Indiana’s registry. In Anderson’s resentencing last week, he was granted Holmes Youthful Trainee status, meaning the case will go away as long as he successfully completes probation in two years.
