The United Way of Van Buren County is reminding everyone of free prescription discount cards they can get at its offices or local pharmacies. The organization’s Vera Tanier Sebree says that the Familywize cards are available to everyone, whether they have insurance or not, and they can save you quite a bit.

To pick up one of the discount cards, you can stop by the United Way’s office in Paw Paw, or you can check your pharmacy. Tanier Sebree says that since the Familywize cards became available in Van Buren County eight years ago, they’ve helped to fill over 26 thousand prescriptions, saving residents more than 587 thousand dollars.
