A 15-year-old boy is hospitalized in Kalamazoo after being hit by a car early Tuesday morning in Geneva Township in Van Buren County. He was one of three boys walking a bicycle on 68th Street, just north of 8th Avenue when the accident happened around 4:30 a.m. According to the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department, the three were walking in the road in the left lane when a young woman hit the boy near the center line of the road. She was driving south, the same direction the three were walking. The other two weren’t hurt, and the crash is still under investigation.
