With Hillary Clinton now the Democratic nominee for president, the former secretary of state and first lady is tasked with essentially reintroducing herself to the country as the person best suited for the job. That’s according to Aaron Kall, director of debate at the University of Michigan. He says Clinton has a tough task ahead of her from a branding standpoint. With a recent FBI investigation into her emails and a fairly high unfavorable rating, he says Clinton has to project confidence and inspire.

“The place where she’s really struggling in terms of polls is the credible, trustworthy, honest thing, because the email scandal continues to plague her,” Kall said. “I don’t think that she’s going to directly address that subject in the speech, but anything that can be done to help drive up those numbers I think would be really important.”

The latest Gallup poll shows Hillary Clinton is viewed unfavorably by 57% of Americans. On Tuesday, she made US history by becoming the first woman to secure the presidential nomination of a major party.
