Seddrick Williams, one of three convicted in the shooting death of 17-year-old Karlos Kelly in Benton Township last year, has been sentenced to four to 15 years in prison. The 18-year-old Williams was sentenced this week by Berrien County Judge Donna Howard. Karlos Kelly was gunned down outside of the Blossom Acres apartments on October 25. The Berrien County Prosecutor’s office says the shooter was Anthony Walker, who faces life in prison when sentenced next month. Also charged in the case were Daquantaries Williams and Seddrick Williams. Seddrick Williams owned the car the three used to drive to the apartment complex, while Daquantaries Williams was behind the wheel. Daquantaries was sentenced to 25 to 60 years earlier this year after pleading guilty to second degree murder, while Seddrick pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter. At his sentencing this week, Seddrick Williams was also ordered to pay more than $7,000 in restitution.
