A meeting will be held this week at St. Joseph City Hall for residents to learn about and discuss the next Parks Master Plan. City Manager John Hodgson says the document covers what the city will do to its parks system for the next five years.
“They talk about potential park improvements,” Hodgson told WSJM. “The city has 17 parks, more than 200 acres, so it’s about improvements to facilities.”
Hodgson says the document lays out the city’s plans, and also allows for possible state funding for parks. Eventually, the goal is to develop separate plans for each of the city’s parks. Thursday’s meeting will be at six pm.
