Firefighters from several departments made quick work of a fire reported at the Stevensville Super 8 Motel Thursday evening. The call came in about 6:30 regarding three rooms with smoke coming out of them. Firefighters from Lincoln Township, Royalton Township, Bridgman, Saint Joseph, Baroda, and Chikaming Township were called to the scene. They managed to get everything under control quickly, and firefighters from some of the responding departments started clearing within about an hour. There were no injuries.
