Michigan’s gas prices are back to being among the nation’s lowest. Triple-A Michigan puts the average statewide at $1.60, down 13¢ from last week. The state’s average price is the fifth lowest in the nation. The most expensive gas is in Marquette at $1.77, while the lowest prices on average are in the Lansing-East Lansing area at $1.47. In Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, the average is $1.60, a 14¢ drop from last week. GasBuddy pegs the statewide average at $1.58, with the lowest prices in the state being $1.27 at several stations in Flint. South Haven’s average is a dime lower than the statewide price at $1.50.
