Bill Smith will seek a full term on the Berrien County Commission this year. Smith was appointed last year to replace Bob Wooley, who resigned after being charged with embezzlement. Smith, a former Coloma City Commissioner, says he’s enjoyed serving on the county commission representing the Coloma and Watervliet areas, and would like to continue doing so for a full term. As part of the county commission, he serves on the Personnel and Human Services Committee, and also represents the board on the Berrien County Public Works Board. Smith and his wife are retired teachers.
