Niles Armed Robbery Suspects Due In Court October 29th

The suspects arrested Tuesday night in a Niles armed robbery have been arraigned in Cass County District Court. 39 year old Ralph Fink the Second, of Niles, faces a total of 14 counts for his role in not only the robbery of the Sunrise Liquor store Tuesday evening, but also several other armed robberies in the area. He’s charged with four counts of armed robbery, four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, four counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, two counts of larceny, and two counts of resisting and obstructing. Fink was picked up after Tuesday night’s robbery by a task force of law enforcement agencies working to solve a wave of such crimes in the area over the past month. His driver in the Tuesday incident, 30 year old April Dawson, of Berrien Springs, is charged with one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and one count of armed robbery. Her bond was set at 100 thousand dollars, while Fink’s was set at 300 thousand dollars. Both are due back in court for preliminary exams on October 29th.
