Another Armed Robbery In Niles

A sixth armed robbery is now under investigation in Niles. Michigan State Police tell us a white man entered the Marathon gas station Friday night just before 8 p.m. and pulled a knife on the cashier. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and was unable to be tracked. Troopers are working with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department on the case. The Lenny’s Marathon that was targeted is at 2205 East US 12 in Niles. Five other armed robberies between September 23 and October 5 were already under investigation by MSP and the Berrien and Cass county sheriff’s departments. The first five are believed to have been done by the same suspect.
