Cubs fever is sweeping southwest Michigan and much of the country as fans are feeling hopeful for the first time in years that the Chicago Cubs might be able to go all the way. One place they congregate is the Getaway Cubbie Bar in Bridgman, and owner Tom Ackerman says that this has indeed been a great season.

Ackerman says that the Getaway has been getting in the spirit, having giveaways, throwing out game balls, and holding live seventh inning stretches during playoff games. They’ve also been passing out cow bells.
